Project Details

Modern Day Explorers is the first film in the Y.CO Beneath the Surface series. Conceived to showcase the many talents Y.CO works with across the yacht industry and on board the yachts they manage. This short documentary showcases Legend as the yacht prepares for a trip to Antarctica. Legend is one of the very few privately owned icebreaker yachts capable of navigating to regions out of reach of most superyachts.
 
The story follows the crew as they prepare to sail from Europe to Antarctica. The film goes behind the scenes and features interviews with Captain Taigh, and follows the subsea crew as they test Legend’s onboard U-Boat Worx submarine ahead of the expedition.
